Form studies for a library - These primitive forms have evolved through an iterative, tactile process. A slice taken horizontally through a pyramidal form creates an oculus, or a place to sit quietly with a book from the library below.

This series forms part of ongoing research which looks at opposition between the artist or architect’s intent and the free will of the medium.
